Vocational Service allows our Club to empower others by addressing community needs and helping individuals acquire or refine skills and advance their professional opportunities.
Fort Collins Breakfast Rotary Vocational Service projects include. . .
● Student of the Month Award given in partnership with Poudre School District. Each Student of the Month is recognized at a Rotary meeting and given a certificate and a Rotary water bottle.
● Teacher of the Month Award given in partnership with Poudre School District. Each Teacher of the Month is recognized at a Rotary meeting and given a check for $250 to use as needed within his/her school.
● Supplying Centennial High School, an alternative high school in Fort Collins, with an emergency fund for its students to use for food, gas, transportation.
● Our Club also awards two to five scholarships totaling $4,000-$5,000 to Centennial High School students wanting to attend a vocational or technical school, community college or traditional college.
