- Joe McCarthy attended his nephew’s wedding
- Chris White has a tradition of bringing his wife a donut for every year they have been married on their anniversary. They just celebrated 32 years of marriage!
- John Hintzman welcomed his grandson a month early at 5 lbs. 1 oz and talked a couple into attending the Peach Festival rather than driving to the western slope
- The Tom Strause family welcomed his grandson, Lucas into this world
- Cindy Cloyd was pleased that a Global Grant for laboratory equipment for Madonna Hospital in Nigeria was successfully completed and the Final Report was approved by the Rotary Foundation
- Ann Griffith pointed out the article on the inside back of the recent Rotary Magazine concerning Palisades Peaches.
- Marcy Woodland was happy that the $59,000 Heart-to Heart grant was approved to enable surgeries for Vietnam children with heart defects

Program:
Tim Cochran introduced Hally Strevey, Executive Director of Coalition for the Poudre River Watershed (CPRW) for the past 4 years.
- The mission of the CPRW is “to improve & maintain the ecological health of the Poudre River Watershed through community collaboration.”
- The Poudre River Watershed provides water for 400,000 people
- The CPRW was established following the devastating Hewlett Gulch and High Park Fires in 2012
- 40 days after the High Park fire, water could not be removed from the Poudre for consumption
- 68% of CPRW’s 2024 revenue came from Government grants & 32% from contributions and other grants
- Erosion mitigation, reforestation and increasing wetland aquatic habitats are a focus of CPRW
- Engineered log structures have encouraged beavers to return to the burn area
