When it comes to hobbies and interests, Mark enjoys touring on his motorcycle with others. You’ll also find him fly fishing typically on weekdays to avoid the weekend crowd. He plays golf when possible (a few times a month during the summer). Mark also enjoys gardening and growing vegetables and is a beekeeper. His favorite activity is spending time with his family especially his 1 ½ year old grandson.
Mark joined Rotary because “I have always had a desire to help others in the world based on the bible verse in the book of Matthew; “The greatest among us is he who serves. Rotary mission is “To provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.”
“I choose this club because I have always felt welcomed when I attended the morning meetings over the years. Tom Welsh was relentless in the fact every time I would come with a teacher or student of the month; Tom would invite me to join the FC Breakfast group. Never underestimate the power of an invite to a potential Rotarian.”
