REMINDER: TOMORROW’s meeting is at Christ United Methodist Church at 301 E Drake between Matthews and Tulane

INSPIRATION: Cait Nase shared a quote and interpretation from the book "Braiding Sweetgrass" that she is reviewing with her 7th graders.

"Being naturalized to a place means to live as if this is the land that feeds you, as if these are the streams from which you drink, that build your body and fill your spirit."

The author articulates the profound connection and responsibility humans, we as humans, have toward our environment. To be naturalized signifies integration and investment in the local ecosystem. It inspires the idea of stewardship, emphasizing that our survival and well-being are intertwined with the health of the land.

IDEA THOUGHTS: When was the last time you interacted with our environment, in Colorado or elsewhere? I find as the trees change colors and the season begins to change, I have a new appreciation and love for where I live!
