Inspiration: Mike Griffith inspired us with words from both President Lincoln, often seen as The Great Uniter, and President John F. Kennedy. In terms of living our year's motto, Unite for Good, Mike reminded us of one of Kennedy's quotes: “Our most basic common link is that we all inhabit our planet.”
IDEA Quote: "Strength lies in differences, not in similarities." Stephen R. Covey

Final Comments: Joe reminded us that we are united around Rotary fellowship, service and programs, but that we all have our own areas of interest, political leanings, religions, etc. He implored us to make sure that all comments from the podium (inspirations, announcements, etc.) meet the Four Way Test and that we each consider whether our comments could be misunderstood by someone who sees the world differently than we do. Let's Unite for Good.
