Opening Remarks: Wynn Washle and David Dunne, Presidents of the Rotary Clubs of Fort Collins and Fort Collins Foothills respectively, joined us to thank Leighanne for being such a fantastic part of their Quad Club Presidents Team. As a group, they had determined not to be competitive with one another and the Quad Club Social was an outcome. As usual, Leighanne's contagious energy was a big part of making that happen!
Inspiration: Mike Griffith - reminded of us of Summer Solstice and of The Magic of Rotary about tangible differences that happen through collective effort.

Jacqueline wrote of a paraprofessional who has been so helpful (she is nonverbal and put quite a bit of effort into her essay)
Safa wrote of her parents who have always been positive, even before moving from Afghanistan to Fort Collins
Riley wrote about her Uncle Nick Goucher, who was diagnosed with cancer at 11, but felt that “life is too short to waste it sitting on the sidelines.” Although he couldn't play ball himself, he became a one-armed umpire! He also learned to snowboard and skydive before passing away way too soon.
Program: Olivia Tremblay

Closing Remarks: Leighanne shared her heartfelt thanks for supporting her in her role this year and we rose to wholeheartedly thank her for her outstanding year as Club President!
