Good News and Announcements:
- Connie Sheltren shared that our club will be sending outbound exchange student Sara Winter to France next year
- Andrew Hensen reported our club purchased presents for 71 families that filled 5 cars worth of presents to be delivered to the Fullana Learning Center
- Andy Chaffin was pleased that $20,000 have been donated to The Club Foundation (TCF) since last week’s presentation about TCF and that two Rotarians are matching donations up to $500 thru Dec. 31
- Ann Griffith reminded Rotarians to sign up for the progressive dinner on January 14 starting at 5:00 at Walnut Creek downtown for appetizers, to Bistro Nautile for dinner and finishing at Little Bird for dessert
- Next week’s meeting will be our Christmas breakfast with singers from Boltz Middle School
- Krishna Murthy shared that there are four Global Grants in progress and our $15,000 donation will be leveraged to over $200,000
- Joe McCarthy presented Tom Welsh with a 4-Way-Test coin in appreciation for his long-time efforts to sustain the Rendezvous Trail clean-up project:

Program: 
Connie Sheltren introduced Chloé Odhiambo – exchange student from Nairobi, Kenya who shared her presentation.
- Chloé is 17 years old and is interested in dance, piano, violin and basketball and plays 1st chair violin at Mt. View High School in Loveland
- Chloé’s father is from the Luo tribe and her mother is from the Meru tribe in Africa
- She lives in a gated community with walls round her home
- Chloé’s aunt and mother raise and sell tea
- Her dream is to help people in Dentistry, Biomedical Engineering and to be involved in music on the side
- While in the USA she wants to go to a Nuggets game, a women’s basketball game, to visit her aunt in Ohio and build a snowman

Kira Kovar joined the Rotary Club of Fort Collins to connect with others who value community, service, and growth. She serves as Chief of Staff to the President of Executive Search at ZRG Partners, a global talent advisory firm. Originally from Northern California, Kira lived in Boston and New York before settling in Fort Collins with her husband, Paul, a local electrician. They are fixing up the old home they recently bought and caring for a small flock of backyard chickens. Outside of work, Kira enjoys hiking, painting, traveling, and comedy shows.on here
