Community Service
Community service allows our Club members to give back to the community and help make meaningful differences in the lives of people in Fort Collins and beyond. The Club’s “giving back” is possible thanks to fundraising projects undertaken by our Club throughout the year and Club members generously donating their time and resources.
Non-profits that provide services to veterans and first responders are key beneficiaries of our Club’s annual Field Of Honor. Funds at the Field Of Honor are generated via sales of medallions, Community Supporters and donations. Below are just a sample of the Veterans and First Responder organizations we have supported over the last few years:

- Platte River Veterans Flyfishing
- High Plains Honor Flight
- Health4Heroes
- Larimer County Search & Rescue
- B-Bold Empowered Adaptive Living
- Vets Honoring Vets
- Berthoud American Legion Post 67
Additional funds generated from our Club's Field Of Honor and two other fundraisers--peach sales and 10K raffle--meant that our Club could have even more impact in our community. Non-profits securing grants from our Rotary included the following:

- Food Bank of Larimer County
- Neighbor to Neighbor
- Mujeres de Colores
- The Book Trust of Larimer County
- CSU Writing Project
- Hispanic Women's Farming Proyecto (FC Community Action)
- Dolly Parton Imagination Library Larimer County
In addition to awarding grants to non-profits within our community, Club members put “Service Above Self” in action by volunteering for the following organizations:
- Food Bank of Larimer County
- Meals on Wheels
- Rendezvous Trial Clean-up
Club members also reached into their own pockets and donated. . .
- Carloads of hygiene products to the Early Childhood Education Center
Toys and winter clothing at Christmastime to low-income families
