I joined Rotary to find a community of like-minded individuals who are committed to helping others and working together for the common good. After attending some of the meetings as a guest, I really appreciated the warmth and friendliness of the group. I am excited to be a part of Rotary and to help contribute in whatever way I can.
I am married to my beautiful wife Jenny, who teaches Microbiology and Immunology at Colorado State. My son Conor and his wife Rebecca live in Windsor, with our first baby granddaughter, Zoe! My daughter, Makenna, lives here in Fort Collins and is currently working for Madwire.

I spent 29 years in emergency services. I was a firefighter for 26 years, working here in Fort Collins and retired as a Division Chief in 2021. Following my fire department career, I accepted the position of Senior Director of Pre-Hospital Care with UCHealth, overseeing 911 ambulance services for most of northern Colorado. I retired from this career in 2023 to focus my energy on growing my non-profit, the LEO Fund, which supports community organizations and leaders in vulnerable areas around Cali, Colombia.

I enjoy the outdoors and being active. I continue to work on improving my Spanish level and enjoy playing guitar daily. Recently, I have begun baking bread and am working to continuously improve my cooking skills.

I grew up in Fort Collins, attending elementary, junior high and high school here. I also received my undergraduate degree from CSU. The ability to have a career where I served my community was very special for me, and I am excited to continue contributing to Fort Collins through Rotary.
