Fundraising
Providing grants to community non-profits and helping underwrite international service projects take money—and that’s where our Club fundraisers come in. During any given year, our Club members organize and carry out three key fundraisers:
- $10K Raffle—Conducted in late winter/early spring
- Field Of Honor – Conducted during the spring
- Peaches Helping Preschoolers – Conducted July & August
Our $10K Raffle gives individuals then opportunity to purchase a ticket for $100 for the chance of winning $10,000. Only 500 tickets are offered for sale. The proceeds from this fundraiser go toward community and international projects undertaken by our Club.
Our annual Field Of Honor is conducted over four days during Memorial Day Weekend at Spring Canyon Community Park in Fort Collins. Field Of Honor is comprised of 500 American flags that fly in formation in honor of our country's heroes. The Club sells individual medallions that hang on the flags and honor a specific hero as well as gives local businesses the opportunity to become a Field Of Honor Community Supporter. Funds raised are used to provide grants to non-profits that provide services to veterans and first responders as well as for grants to other community non-profits.
Our Peaches Helping Preschoolers is fundraiser is all about selling fresh-off-the-tree Palisade peaches and using the funds to provide free books to preschoolers plus funding various community projects. We presell boxes of peaches plus sell peaches by the box and in small bags at Fort Collins' annual Peach Festival.
