The club’s IDEA—Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Awareness—Committee provides members with the tools, information and resources to encourage diversity, equity and inclusion within our club, our members, the individuals we touch and the community we serve.

 

In the last 12 months, the IDEA Committee was the impetus behind the Club’s Braver Angel training that focused on skill-building for difficult conversations. Follow-up training featured Dr. Regina Lewis who addressed the need to be aware of prejudices and how they can unknowingly enter a conversation and cause upset. Dr. Lewis offered tips to improving relationships across all ethnicities.
