Interact clubs are student-led clubs that bring together students ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Rotary’s “Service Above Self” philosophy. By fostering leadership at a young age, Interact helps students build the foundation for a lifetime of service.
Interact clubs organize at least two projects every year: one project that benefits their school or community and one project that promotes international understanding.
A new Interact club is being championed at Fort Collins High School by a Rotary Youth Exchange student from Uganda. Our Club, plus the other three Fort Collins Rotary Clubs, supports this Interact club.
In Interact, students:
- Lead and design community service projects
- Connect with other young leaders locally and internationally
- Develop skills in project management, leadership, and public speaking
- Experience the joy of making a tangible impact on their community
